We were blessed with another sweltering summers day for the wedding of Blair and Darcy at  Markovina Estate.  It was so humid that Blair got into her dress outside in the garden, which was great for photos!

We had a fabulous day, with lots of laughs, tender moments and great food to top it off. A big thank you to my second shooter for the day, Lisssa.

Hokianga really is an epic part of New Zealand. Stunning blue ocean, glaringly bright sand dunes and gorgeous rolling hills only about three hours drive from Auckland.

You cannot get a better viewing position to take it all in than The Copthorne, which is where Anstey and Levi’s big day took place.

The weather was just as it should be with brilliant sunshine and the girls kept me well on my toes with a laugh a minute. Thank you so much for your brilliant hospitality, it was such a pleasure to be a part of you day.

 

 

We were blessed with another spectacular summer’s day for the wedding of Donna and Ron, held at Markovina Estate in Kumeu.

Donna and the girls looked absolutely amazing. It was a privilege to photograph this group and witness their heart felt ceremony and evening celebrations.

No matter how many weddings I attend, it never ceases to amaze me the effort that couples and their families put into this most special day.

Jess and Malachi had their wedding on her family farm, with the large barn stunningly converted and thought put in to every aspect of the wedding.

We were blessed with a stunning day with laughter from start to finish.

There was a heart stopping moment when the stunning cake was knocked over and literally crushed before our eyes. Jess handles this with her usual style and grace and during the official cake cutting, we were in hysterics as Malachi, ( a bricklayer by trade  ) was literally troweling the cake off the floor as if it were concrete.
